Just one more advantage to living here on the US East Coast, London is only six hours away. It's always an hour longer on the return of course, but if the boarding priority gods are on our side, it's a dream-and-a-half on the tres cool 777...mmmm, and as I found out most recently, not so bad on the 747 either. I swear the seats are narrower there though, as well as the aisles themselves, when compared to the beloved 777. I'm sure that's because of the pointy nose tip of the front cabin on the 747, but still, you have to be aware of these differences. They're subtle, but present. ;-) |
The worst part is... ...the waiting! Then again, people-watching opportunities are at their best if you have to hang for a couple hours in the connections lounge at any of LHR's terminals. Just grab your overpriced cappuccino, plug in the iPod, and relaaaaax. Until you see YOUR flight finally get its gate assignment. Yeayyy, one step closer to... |  | |
