"your own medieval times" Bayeux by morgane1692
Bayeux Travel Guide: 183 reviews and 522 photos
Yes, the centerpiece of this Norman gem is its splendid medieval cathedral, but there's more to Bayeux than that. Don't have a plan when you visit here, just wander the lanes and discover.
- Pros:small enough to see everything during a day's walk around town
- In a nutshell:excellent base for your Norman explorations!

Happy New Year Christine! Hope you'll enjoy your visit to Israel.
We had a great time in Bayeux ; thanks for the tips! It is really a good place for the gargoyle circuit... and I LOVED the crypt.
I love gargoyles!! Looks like I should start exploring my surroundings again; Normandy seems very nice!
Good start. You gave me the idea of possibly going there next week. Nice photos.
Good to see you're improving on your French!
gorgeous photos! I was here in October 94, but only to see the Tapestries...
