Shakespeare's town

by Mique - last update: Jul 4, 2004

The second day of easter we went to Stratford. Luckily we got there fairly early because we could still relatively easy park the car. During the day more and more visitors got there. So if you ever plan to go here, try to avoid the easter days. And if you can't.. it still is worthwhile to go.

We met George at the Fallstaff Experience.
My friend was actually quite amazed that i had never been to Stratford before. But i somehow hadn't gotten around to it yet. And i liked it a lot. There is much to see and experience about Shakespeare but there is more to it then that. The place has beautiful old houses, a nice small park and the river to walk along if you feel like stretching your legs...
I loved the woodwork houses. And especially this very crooked one. If there were a few more and it would have been twilight, i'd have assumed i'd jumped back a few centuries...

Very interesting tips on Shakespeare's town, I hope to make it there some day. A "monstruosity" indeed, but you should see what France gave to Quebec City...! Cheers, Isa

What great pages! We didn't make it into the Falstaff Experience when we visited, which is a shame because it looks like fun. Maybe next time.
