In 1996 we were on our way to Bretagne for a week of touring around. I had been out in Groningen that night and hadn't had more then an hour of 2 of sleep. And i was the only one that could drive. Driving along in France i new i had to stop and get some sleep. Arras is where we ended up. And it was a big and very positive suprise. It has this amazing square. So nice.
I was here again in 2001 just to reconfirm for myself that i had remembered it well... and still love it.
And it seems i´m not the only one.. Arras has agood chance to be placed on the Unesco heritage list in either 2005 or 2006! |

I want to visit it someday! | Helga67 Mon Sep 8, 2003 09:02 UTC I'll be there end of Septembre and do not want to miss the lovely square | patrikske Sat Jul 19, 2003 00:10 UTC Jacqueline is so lovely ... very nice page, Sandra ! |
