In 1996 we were on our way to Bretagne for a week of touring around. I had been out in Groningen that night and hadn't had more then an hour of 2 of sleep. And i was the only one that could drive. Driving along in France i new i had to stop and get some sleep. Arras is where we ended up. And it was a big and very positive suprise. It has this amazing square. So nice.

I was here again in 2001 just to reconfirm for myself that i had remembered it well... and still love it.

And it seems i´m not the only one.. Arras has agood chance to be placed on the Unesco heritage list in either 2005 or 2006!

    This city is well known in Krakow, Poland because of the world's largest collection of tapestries from 14th and 15th century in Krakow - called just arras. I want to visit it someday!
