"Langres" Langres by Mique

While on route to Italy we saw Langres emerge from the landscape. It is a town build on the highest hill in the surroundings. When you stand on its outer walls you have a superb view .. very impressive. We could trace back most of our route from that morning..
The town still has most of its fortifications and the walls are huge. Appartently it is considered on eof the most beautiful places in France.
