Untouched nature in Wells Gray | The beautiful Helmcken Falls, Wells Gray Park |
We just got back from a second visit to Wells Gray Park, we stayed for 3 days in this lovely place (July 17-July 19, 2004). We had a great time and stayed at a wonderful B&B. The visit to the park was as great as the first time and we had the chance to do some other hikes and see some more things this time. It was fantastic!!
Wells Gray Provincial Park is located in the Clearwater area in the middle of British Columbia. This park is known for its vast wilderness makes is one of the most spectacular parks in British Columbia. This park offers a variety of scenery and you can enjoy wonderful waterfalls, alpine meadows, snowcapped mountains, glaciers, beautiful lakes and streams. There are even volcanos, but these are extinct and you will also see lava beds. Then there are some rivers and streams, miniral springs and lush rainforest. |
