Extremely popular Pachinko Palours

by TravelBug_sg - last update: Dec 5, 2004

No, this is NOT France :-)

I cannot believe there are so many of these in Tokyo. When I first heard of a Pachinko Palour, I thought it is a hanky-panky kinda place ... think Massage Palour.

But no! It is what a local described as "Vertical Pinballs". Or you may think of it as a Jackpot / One-Arm Jack machine. You can see young and old playing.

Truly amazing...

Pokemon shop

There is a big Pokemon shop near TOKYO station - it's near one of the small lanes opposite Takashimaya (note - this is not the Takashimaya Times Sq in Shinjuku)

My kids went CRAZY!
Tiffany & Co near Tokyo Stn

Tiffany & Co

My favourite shop but can only afford to window-shop ... *grin*
