Taiwan during Cherry Blossoms season

It's wonderful. I love everything about Taipei. It is a pity I only stayed for 5D/4N. Thus, I could only visit the nearby towns.

Itinerary:-
Day 1 : Taipei & Shilin Night market
Day 2 : Jiufen, Jinguashi, Keelung. These are towns on the north-eastern coast of Taiwan. Back to TP in the evening.
Day 3 : Yang Ming Shan. Beitou hot springs. Danshui. Back to TP in evening, for shopping at Xi Men Ting (hip area with LOTS of stores)
Day 4 : Sightsee around TP city itself, i.e. CKS Memorial, the main shopping spots (Wufenpu, Taipei Main Station Underground Malls), etc.
Day 5 : More shopping. Then the 6.30 pm flight home.

Sad to say, i got food poisoning (ate too much food!!!!) and was flat out on day 4. My poor friend, stayed with me in the room. But I finally ventured out at 2pm'ish, although absolutely no mood to shop at all!

Cherry Blossoms in March

Wierd, but there weren't any blooming at Yang Ming Shan. But there were loads of them at Jiufen and Jinguashi.... Feel like I was in paradise!

Just a note of clarification: At Wufenpu you may need to buy in bulk. I don't know, I've not been there. However, at Taipei Main Station Underground Malls you can't buy in bulk. They do offer low prices and you may be able to negotiate a little.
