Buses, trains, cars, microbuses, planes

To Lithuania and inside Lithuania you can travel with most popular and known transportation. The best autobahns are Vilnius-Kaunas-Klaipeda (connecting biggest Lithuania cities) and Vilnius-Panevezys. All other roads are not so significant, but in good condition.

About buses: it goes practically everywhere - the best choose of transportation, of my opinion, if you don't have car.

About trains: train is good choose for going Vilnius-Kaunas, but Kaunas-Klaipeda train trip takes more time, as it goes not directly, but making big wing.

About cars: have your car or rent at special places - in Lithuania still there are no payable roads, so go through roads for free.

About microbuses: don't be afraid if instead of big bus you will see smaller microbus - it is usual in Lithuania. Let's say if you buy bus ticket Vilnius-Kaunas, the trip can be made by bus or microbus.

About planes: don't know how it is now, but I think flight Vilnius-Palanga and Kaunas-Palanga operate.

All these means of transporation exist travelling in Lithuania and from\to Lithuania.
