I have stayed at the Pension Side several times on my trips to Istanbul and it is a great bargain in terms of location, price, service and friendly and helpful staff. Their website is http://www.sidehotel.com/english /pension
They do a very nice Turkish breakfast in the morning on the rooftop terrace that overlooks the Blue Mosque and the Sea of Mamara.
Unique Qualities: The attached foto is the view from my room in the pesnion side of the hotel.
