Newcastle-upon-Tyne, What a great town! Friendly folks, convenient transportation, super riverfront, excellent shopping, etc. We walked a great deal in Newcastle and took the metro. Everything was well organized, clean, and pretty easy. We were there on a Saturday and Sunday, but did not have any experience with the infamous night life scene. |
|  | Shopping! It sure was crowded on Saturday afternoon in downtown Newcastle! There was live music in the square, charitable solicitations, lots of folks, and unseasonably good weather. |
Brunswick Methodist Church This Methodist Church was just off the pedestrian zone in downtown Newcastle. We were lucky enough to find a wonderful woman who gave us a tour of the inside too! | | |
