hi nice to see your pg here - thats an amazing sky fulls of stars at night shot!...such a magic thing about the night sky in Morocco! The 2 trips Ive had on a camel I didnt think was uncomfortable though - just too slow!
G'Day Georgey. What a gr8 trip mate. have just finished reading Michael Palin's book (&seeing the DVD's) "Sahara" & was absolutely fascinated. Glad you had the chance to enjoy it.
Really col picture of the stars. Running up and down the sand dunes was one of my favorite things about the Sahara too. Couldn't believe how fine the sand was...like powder.
Hi Georgey, enjoyed reading about your night in the desert and pleased to hear that camels are friendly! We are spending 11 nights in the Sahara and nearly 200 miles on a camel in November. Must be mad! LOL.
wow...i can imagine how the sky might be over there!
also Great page here!!! I love pictures of the star=)))
Great tips :-) I loved the desert in Egypt. It's Eastern Lebanon Desert, but it actually is just a part of Sachara.
Fantastic adventure...described nicely !
run up and down the sand dunes barefoot is simply...great!!!!
A trek in the desert on camels sounds like the experience of a lifetime.
