At the end of a long corridor seemingly going nowhere along the upper floor of the castle walls is a mediaeval fairground style target game with a difference!

Instead of using a gun to shoot at targets, for 50 crowns you get an authentic looking crossbow to fire crossbow bolts on a 50ft firing range at a target approximately 2ft by 3ft - which is in fact quite difficult!

In my five shots I managed to hit the target paper twice, though not in the bullseye.

Of course, I was tempted to poke a couple of holes in the bullseye - but I wouldn't do that... ;-)

Not bad fun, especially if you can get a little competition going!

Equipment: One Crossbow and 5 quarrels/bolts and a target to shoot at and keep as a souvenir!
