England's only World Heritage City!
No trip to Bath (Aqua Sulis to the Romans!) would be complete without visiting the Roman Baths and Pump Rooms, they are truly awe-inspiring!
Architecture afficionados can explore the Georgian heart of Bath, especially the World famous Crescent and Circus by John Nash, as well as the wonderful Pulteney Bridge... |

| | Quick Tips and Suggestions Did you know that Uranus was discovered in William Herschel's back garden here in Bath?
Why not also see some glass being blown right here too?
You could also 'go postal' and visit Bath's Postal Museum - or any number of other museums and galleries!
If at all possible come here when there are no crowds - so avoid Summer! |
Getting Around Getting around is easy!
Everything you need to see in Bath is an easy walk as the centre is so compact, and even getting to the further away attractions is a joy when walking through the architectural marvel of the centre of town.
If you are arriving by bus or train they decant just to the south of the centre just a scant 5 minute walk away. Coming by car, try to park in one of the larger car parks as these give you reasonable day rates instead of having to pay by the hour. There is one next to the railway station.
