I visited Munich twice, but always for business reasons.
Anyway, I loved visit it in my spare time.
Munich, the capital of Bavaria, is an enigmatic mix of old-world charm and chic sophistication. Baroque churches, splendid palaces and beautiful parks, jostle with art galleries, theatres and modern shops.
Munich is also an international business and manufacturing centre, famous for its automotive, electronic and computing companies.
This city is famous all over the world for its Oktoberfest, a sixteen day (starting in Sept!) beer festival which involves band concerts, funfairs and consuming lots of beer and sausages.

i only managed to stay one nite in beautiful munich, i must go back one day again to further explore this beautiful city !

Very nice work on both Munich and Dachau. You've done an excellent job of presenting a lot of information on both.
If I had read your page before I visited Munich a few years ago I may have spent less time in the beerhalls and more time sightseeing. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing though. Good page.....

about beer gardens,you have to share the atmosphere drinking in 1 liter mugs in "hofbrauhaus" am plazl 9,near marienplatz.tks.daria,for your personal,interesting and nice written tips on one of the most traditional and cosmopolitan german cities!
