Atlanta is the state capital city of Georgia. At first glance it is not the most exciting city and many may say there are much better places to visit if you have the time and the money, however Atlanta ended up as a place which was close enough, and cheap enough for myself and a couple friends to visit during the 2004 Thanksgiving weekend.
...and as far as better places to visit - well before you write off Atlanta, take a look at what it has to offer - recent civil rights movement history, stone mountain, and a beautiful autumnal feeling during November. |

small you say? I c u did not had the opportunity of seeing the whole park. The park is actually lrge. If you had just gone to the Stone mountain, there is actually another end of the park where there is paddle boat, cruises, hiking, bird trailing etc. | tpangelinan Fri Mar 4, 2005 03:05 UTC
