Panoramic Views

The Panoranic View!
Breckenridge is about 2 hours from Denver Int. Airport. It's a great town with easy access to a large ski area.

This view is of the base of Peak 8. There are about 5 lifts at the bottom leading to different areas of the mountain.

Altogether there are 4 peaks to ski in Breakenridge - Peak 7 up to Peak 10. More details in my tips...

Pros:"Great skiing area, good town, generally friendly."
Cons:"High altitude may send you loopy for a few days!"
In A Nutshell:"Well worth it for the skiing!"

As of today (April 25, 2007) - this restaurant is under new ownership. The same folks who own Downstairs at Eric's just bought it. You should start seeing improvements very soon!

Good to see that Breck was not up to its old nickname - Breck-in-Wind - when you were there ;-] Next visit, stop by the Backcountry Brewpub in Frisco for a better dining experience;-\

Beautiful pictures - I really miss the combination of snow and sunshine living here in Seattle!

I completely agree. The Horseshoe II is one of the worst restaurants I have been to. Definately the worst restaurant I ate at while I was living in Breckenridge. There are so many better places in town.
