Shrewsbury Travel Guide: 83 reviews and 196 photos
Shrewbury is in the heart of Shropshire, a medival town with a rich history.
As far as county towns go, Shrewsbury is not very big, however it is packed with fine examples of old buildings, as shown in the main picture here. It's also got it's own castle, the River Severn running around the town and an addition to flowers!
- Pros:Good example of an old English town.
- Cons:Ignore the modern buildings created in the 1960/70's
- In a nutshell:Makes a pleasant day out - if you can go during the flower show.

I passed through Shropshire twice heading for/from North Wales. Probably should stay there longer, looking at your tips and great pics! Well done!
