I was born in Elkins, W.Va. a very long time ago, we moved to Pensylvania in 1951, then Michigan in 1954, I became a Texan in 1982 and may live the rest of my life here. My last trip to Elkins, my wife, granddaughter and I spent one night, we visited my grandparents' graves in Montrose. We then went to Buckhannon to visit my maternal grandparents' graves. I am planing on coming to W.Va in late September or early October of this year.

The Davis & Elkins campus is a great place to take a hike. There are a number of nice places to eat within a short walk of the campus, as well.
