Pompeii is AMAZING. It was a city covered by the lava of mount vesuvius in 79 AD. Because of this tragedy that wiped out the entire city, people today can walk through the ancient streets in one of the most well preserved ancient cities in the world. The ancient city is huge, you can spend all day wandering around the theaters, the buildings and homes. |
|  | This is one of the things that amazed me the most in all of pompeii. You can see the bodies, in the positions they were in when the lava hit. It is so eerie. |

Pretty view of Vesuvius, pity it rained ash and lava flowed but preserved everything for posterity!!! Fond memories of my trip there last year!!! |
