mljet is a pleasant stop off to relax after the sometimes hectic sightseeing along the coast. a trip out to the isle of st. mary is nice although the sightseeing is over very quickly and then it is a matter of waiting for the water taxi.
it seems that nowhere in croatia escaped last decades conflict.
it can get a bit chilly on mljet in early october as our attire may suggest.
