A ferry trip (or cruise if time and $$$$ permit) is a must on anyones itinerary. My personal tip is the Circular Quay to Manly trip. On a sunny day, the harbour unveils itīs magic as you pass the scenery for which Sydney is famous.

The Blue Mountains are an enormous area of hiking trails and sight-seeing opportunities. Regardless which part of this region you choose to explore, breathtaking scenery is assured. This is the perfect opportunity for a breather after exploring Sydney. Opportunities for tranquil bushwalks aplenty. the below is a little pic of the wentworth falls. it is quite easy to find as it is in a suburb called wentworth falls.

the chinese gardens in darling harbour are a great getaway from the surrounding city. a welcome change from the skyscrapers. just a pity that the skyscrapers are still evident.

lots of snack bars vying for your tourist dollar, as well as plenty of asian specialty shops. paddys markets are also a source of cheap and often nasty bargains.
