Hey all, I am one of those lucky ones that calls Sydney home. I have lived on the Northern Beaches my whole life and usually refer to it as "Gods Country". It really is an awesome place and the main thing I miss now Iīm in Germany is waking up and jumping in the ocean to wake up. Jogs along Manly beach, drinks in by the beach, restaurants that leave no cuisine in the world untouched... Can you tell I'm a bit homesick? Though biased towards the north, the city and south have much to offer as far as nice scenery and plenty to do. Darling Harbour has always got some evnt on to amuse the locals and tourists alike. The city has so many different bars and clubs that you could spend months trying to visit them all! To the west are the magnificent Blue Mountains that are a must on the itinary of anyone that enjoys beautiful views, tranquil bushwalks and feeling like the first adventurers of this area would have felt. I have seen far too little of this area and know my first trip once back home will be here. I could add much more but will restrain myself. |
| | we have asomewhat more relaxed attitude to our parks than many other countries. |
