strange activities

sete is a nice little town which is disected by canals in many places. whilst not seeing too much as it was just a drinks break, it left quite a nice impression.

there was a strange dragonboat- mock gladiator type event on which we found quite amusing.

it is obvious that this is a large port town judging by the amount of large fishing trawlers around but the canal system gives an air of space and the pace of life seems quite relaxed by french standards.
a more relaxed part away from the city centre.
