I am a Shorian, a graduate of Lake Shore High School in 1979, here in Saint Clair Shores or SCS. I have spent about 30 of my 40 years here in the shores. The other 10 years traveling all over.

This page is under construction come back later. For now I leave you with this small factoid.

Here in SCS the main road that runs along the shore of Lake Saint Clair is named Jefferson. (I would add here that some parts of Jefferson are still under construction and Harper a road that runs parallel to Jefferson should be used for easier travel.) Basically perpendicular to Jefferson in SCS runs the mile roads. From 9 mile road and Jefferson which is in the Southeast corner of the city to 10 mile road and Jefferson (still in the Southeast corner of the city) is an area know as the Nautical Mile. With in this area between the Lake and Jefferson are several marinas, fine restaurants, great apartments, condos a couple parks, public boat launch ramps and a few fishing piers. The Nautical Mile at present is the largest continuous stretch of marinas on Lake Saint Clair. The picture shown is a the newly finished Wahby Park which is south of 10 mile and east of Jefferson within the Nautical mile.
