so, what is zizland?

hello all. and welcome to zizland. yeah, it's a bit of a virtual space - but it's my bit.

i'm not sure if i'll do anything great in my life, but the one thing i have done is amass a collection of postcards. as you can see, i tend to be attracted to the ones that fall into one of the following categories:

> tacky. kitsch. goes great with green eyeshadow and sparkly nailpolish, etc.

> an odd choice for a postcard. must mean something to a mother/father/aunt/uncle/etc.

> odd shapes. holes. creative edging.

> industrial scenes. big machines. heavy equipment. large civil projects.

> local people doing strange things.

> just plain ugly.

so welcome to my world and enjoy.
