Elk Mountain Ski Resort - Carbondale

Elk Mountain is at the very north edge of the Pocono Mountains. We traveled up here hoping for more snow than the more southern mountains. It's been a very warm winter here in the northeast!

We were in luck. Ski conditions were excellent. Elk had received between 5-12 inches of snow in the last week, depending on which local you asked!

This mountain is mostly black diamonds, but even though I'm a green and blue skier, I enjoyed myself here.
