I found this place through an internet search. Originally I was trying to find a place on Mt. Desert Island to be close to Bar Harbor and Acadia Nat'l Park. Everything was either already booked or too high in price. So I found this cottage right across the bridge from the island in Trenton.
Well,,,after the week's stay we all agreed we loved staying in this cottage! It was only a few minutes drive to get onto the island, and close drive to park and bar harbor. Yet, at the end of the day we would travel back to our private little place in the woods, with an awesome view of the Western Bay right out the windows. There are also steps down to the beach. From this cottage one can see the sunrise every morning from over the mountains of Acadia.
