I'm a hop, skip, and a bridge ride away from Delaware. The toll is $3.00, but if you get EZ-Pass it's only a buck, well worth it to get into a state that doesn't have any shopping taxes! The Delaware Memorial Bridge used to be the largest twin-span suspension bridge in the world, but that's probably not true anymore. Guess I'll have to research that...
It wouldn't be fair to give Delaware the image of one big shopping center, so get of off Rt. 202 and Rt. 40 and see the beauty of this tiny state.
We love to go hiking and kayaking in the Brandywine Valley. A beautiful area. (where the rich people live.)
- Pros:tax-free shopping with LOTS of stores
- Cons:WAY, way too congested!
- In a nutshell:Go shopping there, but live in Jersey!

Noisy place. Excellent sushi. Their take-out is a good option if you don't like the crowd. Beautiful interior.
