My kids insisted on going here and they loved it. However, they did not pay the entrance fee! The price was way over the limit. (about $30 each)

At Least Do This: Take lots of pictures and try to pass them off as "real" celebrity sightings to your friends. Our tickets included the planetarium. Since it was our first full day and we were sleep deprived, ALL of us fell asleep during the show! Nice little pick-me-up!
Alternative: Here's the facts: Madame Tussaud made waxwork models of guillotined victims of the French Revolution. In 1835 she opened an exhibition of her models at Baker Street. Today, Madame Tussaud's still has some of her original exhibits. (And she was really, really small---4ft. something, I'd say.)

hotsauce28 Mon Jan 16, 2006 22:06 UTC i took a calling card as a souvenior too! =) | deecat Sat Oct 1, 2005 18:12 UTC What a smile-invoking look at London. I'm still smiling after reading and seeing your pages. You have some real clever photos too. | RickinDutch Wed Sep 28, 2005 00:12 UTC Nice London pages - looks like you saw a lot! Bayswater is one of my favorite areas - usually find a B&B there if none of the relatives want us. | yurxlnc Sat Jul 30, 2005 18:34 UTC Nice to see how others look at London. I always did it with kids in tow. Now they tow me around to a different side of London. The main sites don't change though. |
