Restaurant Name: L' Angoletto
Great place-Wonderful experience. Came here again and again. The owner runs around keeping the place operating smoothly. You are given attentive yet not overbearing service. There are tables outside, but the view isn't the greatest. It is more comfortable inside. Closes during the afternoons. Try this place- you will be very happy you did!
Favorite Dish: Spaghetti with Clams fried stuffed olives caramel creme dessert

Restaurant Name: Dino & Tony
This place was recommended here on VT by several members. Since we were staying right by we had to try it. Glad we did! It is definitely a must if you're in the area. We let Dino (or was it Tony) take control. (did we have a choice?) This dining experience was more like an event. This guy sings, bangs around pots and pans, banters with his help, regulars and tourists. We were quite entertained by the whole thing. There are a few small tables outside, but opt for inside.
Favorite Dish: rigatoni in this unbelievably delicious (spicy) sauce (this was our second course I think) for dessert we were presented with about 5-6 different plates and managed to eat most of it! At the end of your dinner, you will get a delicious, complimentary limoncello. You'll manage to fit it in... :-)

Restaurant Name: Leonardo Pizzeria
Being that it wasn't so stinkin' hot this day, we ate outside. There were shady umbrellas and since we sat by the wall, there was a grate from the basement by my side, where cool air soothed my weary feet and legs--ahhhh.... oh, the pizza was good too. Service-fine. The indoor area looked inviting, but sitting outside on the piazza was a nice people watching lunch place.
Favorite Dish: Pizza-just the right size.

Restaurant Name: TUCCI Ristorante-Pizzeria
All of the outside tables that were in the shade were taken, so we went inside. We were given a table right by a large window, so we still had the views of the piazza. We didn't ask, but I could tell that the air conditioning (Yes! I said air conditioning!) was turned on for us. Nice... Our server was very friendly and the pizza was delicious. A good lunch stop with a nice view.
Favorite Dish: 3 Cheese Pizza- thin, tasty crust!

Restaurant Name: Bar Pasticceria Parenti Silvano
For less than 3 euros a person, you can get a morning drink and pastry for breakfast. No seats, only a bar, join the locals! The owner is friendly, not minding the tourists, although this place is so unassuming, we were usually the only outsiders there. You order and eat first, then go to the register when you are finished. They will usually remember what you had, and ring you up. Otherwise, they will put up with your butchered attempts at Italian as you manglewordedly or by pointing, tell them what you had...
Favorite Dish: cafe latte and a sugar donut!

Restaurant Name: Old Bridge Gelateria
Mentioned in guidebooks and right around the corner from our apt., this place is hit or miss. You can walk by it one time and no one will be there. Then the next time there will be an unbelievably long line. Okay, not really a line, mob is more like it. The gelato was good, but there was a place nearby I actually liked better... Thousands of miles from home, during one of our after dinner strolls, we made a gelato stop here one night and we met people here we know from home. Small world...
