    • If you're going to be out and about on a wet day, wear the right shoes. One day began okay, but turned into rain, and I was wearing flip-flops. A half-hour walk home turned into an hour, 'cuz I had to take itty-bitty careful baby steps to keep from falling on my @ss. And even with using caution I slipped around a lot. (Tried to go barefoot-and didn't fare well that way either...)
