Dona Onesta: Staying in an apartment

We booked this apartment through Untours, a company I love to use for traveling. They provide apartments, airport transfers and city transportation passes, all at a price that is very affordable! They have an on-location representative in case you run into troubles. You can book air fare through them too, or arrange your own.
Unique Qualities: Very ornate, beautiful location. Two bedrooms, full bath, living room, dining room, eat in kitchen, washer. All supplies you would ever need. Fans, no air-conditioning. The best part was the balcony. During our afternoon siestas I loved to sit out here and people watch. There is a busy little bridge right below the balcony, two restaurants across from us, and everyday about 4 o'clockish, gondoliers with their patrons paddled their way below us. The tourists who passed below us shelled out the extra dough for singers and musicians, so we got a free serenade every day...
