I´m from Austria. I don´t think we say "ciao" cuz we are so close to Italy or cuz we want to be cool .. we also say things like "aufwiedersehen", "tschüss" or "pfiat di" and so on. I live near vienna and in my area we use to say bye or "tschüss" | Jasen71 Mon Oct 24, 2005 23:13 UTC
