Dinghu Shan is a mountain nature reserve in China

Dinghu is a wonderful place to escape the summer heat and the big city pollution.
It was established in 1956 as China's first national nature reserve but has been the site of two Buddhist temples since the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Hiking through the subtropical forest you will see lush vegetation and exotic flora such as tree ferns.
Take a dip in the natural pool said to be used by Sun Yatsen (Sun Zhongshan) and stand underneath the waterfall.

The bus to Dinghu takes 25 minutes on 4 good tires - Dinghu

Take the bus from Zhaoqing Transportation (1)

Bus 15 and 21 both go to Dinghu Shan. You can catch either bus across the street from the Star Lake Hotel at the bus... more travel advice

There's nothing like skinny dipping behind a waterfall after a long flight to China. Yes, "pinch me" to make sure this fantasy cove is real.....then pinch shpynka.......
