My favorite town in Germany: Dinkelsbuhl | Can you spot the McDonald's? (Look on the right) |
Dinkelsbuhl is one of the old walled cities along the Romantic Road in southern Germany. Here you can see the Middle Ages and imagine stepping back into history as you walk past Baroque towers and Gothic churches. I like it because they do a great job of preserving old traditions and it has that cute village atmosphere despite being a regular stop on the tourist path through Bavaria. |
| Dinkelsbuhl has old German architecture |
| | Like old architecture? You'll love this town! You along with busloads of other tourists from around the world but it's still a fun place to walk around and explore. |
| Another neat looking building in Dinkelsbuhl |
| | Don't miss Dinkelsbuhl on the Romantische Strasse The Romantic Road goes between Wurzburg and Munchen. You can easily go there after your Rhine River cruise. |
