Greece is the time, is the place, is the motion...

Everybody is talking about my recent trip to Greece, which included Easter in Athens. I had a wonderful time and am eager to share my thoughts about this interesting country and funny anecdotes from my tour. Please excuse me for the slow construction of my Greece travel pages. Some pages may have photos first and tip content added later.

ALL ABOARD! Train to LHASA! Plus naked Tibetans!

One uses detergent while the other uses shampoo!

I took the new train to Lhasa in August 2006 and also from Tibet to Qinghai on September 10, just one day after the traditional Tibetan Bathing Festival ("Mu Yu Jie") which is when people take off their clothes and go into the Lhasa River!

See my photos taken from the train in both directions on my Tibet and Qinghai pages! Aside from touring Lhasa, I also retraced the 1904 British military excursion from Kangmar to Gyangze and made side trips to small villages that are seldom seen by foreign tourists.

I took over one thousand photos in Tibet and Qinghai, so please be patient as my tips and travelogues might take 1000 hours to complete! (...and I still haven't finished my Greece pages!)

Hi Confucius! I see you too have decided to take an hiatus, which is a shame as once upon a time, we were on here all the time! I'm planning my next holiday in 3 weeks time to Thailand, Hong Kong and Beijing and hoping to see lots of new and wonderful things! What are you up to these days? Still on thorn tree !
