"A charming "dead mine town"..." Ingurtosu by johnmi

Ingurtosu Travel Guide: 0 reviews and 4 photos

Once upon a time...

..Ingurtosu was a lively mine town, close to other mine towns (e.g. Montevecchio), which could boast the title of the largest mines in Europe. Globalization has sentenced the end of this era. Now it's much more covenient to extract lead, zinc, silver, etc in 3rd world countries

Only 5-6 people live in Ingurtosu. But many old buildings are left... will the future reserve a surprising rebirth?

Getting there...

is quite complicated. No public transport, and many roads are still unpaved

Mi piacono i posti piccoli, lontani, dificili di raggiungere... Quel posto con nome cosi strano sembra perfetto para fugire e riflettere!
