My travels

I have traveled (often hitching..) extensively around Europe and I've backpacked in the other continents as well. But I also like my home town, and, If you need, I can give you LOTS of gooood advice about it.... Oi gente! - For my brazilian friends I have a page of travel advice in portuguese ...
Well, what can I say? Engineer, journalist, saxophone player, football referee (OK, not ALL at the same level! :-) )
I love to play volley and tennis. I like writing and, of course, reading.

AperoNet

In Milan I organise events for a group that somehow has to do with VT...

AperoNet is a social group where foreigners and Italians meet, without a fixed schedule, in the evening, at various places in Milan.
We have a nice group on Facebook!!!

Checking our paste events, you will have an idea of our different events (some FREE of charge too!):
movies in English, wine tastings, concerts, theater, festivals
and so on! Not only "aperitivo"...

A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

1) It's polite to thank people when they give you detailed info
2) I think VT is not a place where you register, no age/pic/name/whatever and then you expect someone to answer 100 questions
3) I will consider VERY UNPOLITE if we agree on meeting up etc and you don't show up and don't eve bother telling me *

Travel literature

I'd like to mention at least Ryszard Kapuscinsky and Tiziano Terzani , my favourites.
I find Chatwin a bit overrated.
