Hi everyone,
hobart is where I live. it is a beatiful city full of supprises (for one it's cold). Our summers are great around 22 degrees and the winters are a balmy low teens. hobart has some great windsufing spots (< 5min from my place). And when the banks are good the surfing is too.
The pristine bushwalking is probably the highlight for travelers to hobart and you can get into some great walks just 20min out of the city!
Unfortunatly for us our mountains are low and the skiing is very marginal. however on a good day you can definatly have some fun at our "ski resorts" (note the inverted commas) of Ben Lomond and Mount Mawson. For more info check out the site www.ski.com.au |
