Hiking the World's Deepest Gorge

When I think of Tiger Leaping Gorge, I think of the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The famous show derived its title from an ancient idiom that describes a location where everyone conceals their strengths to preserve the element of surprise.
It is a location well-concealed from the onslaught of tourist simply by its inaccessibility. Not many are comfortable with the idea of hiking through a 15km rocky passageway that hugs the edges of 2000m high cliffs. Nor entertain real stories of travellers who have slipped and fallen to their deaths.
