I'm very proud to say that one of our acclaimed Singapore theatre directors, Ong Keng Sen, staged a performance in Kronberg Castle once! Since it was a site-specific performance, the play took place in different rooms, dungeons and the central courtyard of Kronborg Castle. The cast came from all over Asia and wore ethnic inspired costumes. Needless to say, the performance took Scandinavia by storm. You can read about it in the link below.

Enroute to Helsingor, Liz and I popped into this art museum since we were a little tired of looking at castles. It was a refreshing break from looking at old tapestries, I assure you. The modern pieces were a little on the avant garde side and if you're inclined to think that modern art is crap, join a guided tour and you'll appreciate it better. Bookings for the tour and other details are in the link below.
Where: Louisiana is situated 35 km north of Copenhagen along the motorway E47 / E55,
Admission prices: Adults: DKK 76 (EURO 10.35)
Students with international student card: DKK 69 (EURO 9.35)
Opening hours: 10am to 5pm (or 10pm on Wednesdays)
Transport: This place is only 10min away by train from Helsingor. Stop at Humlebæk Station and look for directional signs to the museum. It's about 5 min away by bus. You can also choose to take a leisurely walk along the manicured gardens of this huge residential area. Just turn left from the station and walk straight.
