Sounds scary doesn't it? Well, to give you a bigger scare, let me assure you that I didn't make the names up. Hell yes, there's more than 10 varieties of snakes found in P Ubin alone. 20 to be exact. But there's no need to freak out .While some of these creatures are bloody dangerous, they're incredibly shy. Just don't go out of the way to find them - Venturing into dense forested areas or swampy areas and grabbing anything that looks like a belt...

This might have been prompted by the notorious 1990 incident when they found an Asian Elephant on the island. The poor fella must have lost his way after swiming all the way from the Johor Straits to Singapore. Bet he was aiming for Sentosa...
