RIO CATHEDRAL Other Cathedrals Review

Located in Downtown behind the first aqueduct of the city is the conical cathedral of Rio de Janeiro. It was started in 1964 and was completed in 1976 . It is 83 metres in height . Inside it is 12 sides, with four stained coloured glass reaching up the full height to a cross shaped roof of lights.

I love Copacabana beach. It was summer, but the weather wasn't tempting to get into the water. Nevertheless, the fun was there. Strolling back and forth on the beach, sitting down for a glass of Caipirinia, or a cocconut, grabbing a con on the cob, , and the music all over the place.

CORCOVADO Christ The Redeemer, Corcovado Review

You haven't been to RIO if you didn't visit the Corcovado. You can go up with a taxi, but I preffer the slow litle red train full of tourist, moaning and gowning up the hill. The forrest around is beautifull, and as the guide said, it was plannted by man. Great job. The top was mostly cloudy, but we could take a glimps of the Maracana stadium between the clouds.
The Corcovado itself is very impressive, but I think the best view of it is from the Sugar Loaf (provided there are no clouds, and you can see it

BIRD VIEW of RIO Sugar Loaf - Pão de Açucar Review

Go up the SUGAR LOAF, all the way with both cable cars. The viw is magnificent. Tou see rio from above, and it all, good and bad neighburhoods look beautiful.
I was told it's usualy less cloudy then the Corcovado, so you have a better chance with the view

ALL NIGHT LONG Carnaval Review

Initialy, I wasn't so keen to get to Rio during The carnaval. I surender, as the majority of our 6 people group (especialy the male participants) voted for it.
I ENJOYED every minute of that long night. TNX GUYS!!!
It made our trip longer and more expensive then we planned in the beginning, but it was worth every penny.
If you can afford it, DO IT
