Hanoi was our first impression of Vietnam. We arrived a few days before Tet. The city was very busy, and the markets were full and crowded. Our strongest impact was the motorcycle traffic on the street. We visited all the "must see" tourist attraction, but most of all, loved to stroll on the streets, especially in the old town, From here we traveled to HaLong bay and to Sapa.
