"Except the museum, there is nothing to... " a Ambato Travel Page by Maillekeul

Dirty, empty, without any interest, except for the museum (see travelogue)...
To our opinion, Ambato is not a good place to stay, even for one night...
But we had the pleasure to watch a wonderful local moovie "El Cholo" during our trip back to Latacunga, and THAT was really entertaining (have you never seen the "supposed chicano bad guy" beat the blond American up ???)

Sale, vide, sans interet (sauf l'aspect morbide du petit musee de sciences naturelles - cf travelogue sur cette page). A notre avis, Ambato ne vaut pas la peine qu'on s'y arrete.
Mais, on a eu la joie de decouvrir, en en revenant par bus, le film "El Cholo" (qui veut dire "la gueule des Andes", en gros... ) et ca, c'etait bien (imaginez le beau blond americain se prendre une rouste par le sud*-americain pas beau avec un bandana !!!)
