Yahoo! Dallas Texas /Forthworth. One doesn't really know where one city ends and the other one starts... they are kind of melting into each other.
Dallas was all I expected (watching JR and Sue Ellen in my teenage years)
It's big, it's rough and it has very few sidewalks so you got to drive pretty much anywhere - even across the street to get to an ATM machine :) I spent most of my time outside Dallas in Denton - a University hub and very nice place with a fab shopping mall.
My friend made me shark-steak yellow rice and beans and we went to a "eat-in" movie theatre watching Sleepy Hollow while munching on some burgers and fries (NOT reccommended if you have a week stomach)
Dallas has the 2nd largest Film Industry in the US and I spotted a film crew while exploring downtown. AND ACTION!**** |
