There is a certain "je-ne se qua" - a magical quality about Devon. I adore this place really (outside the tourist season when it gets manic)

You can see lots of DEVON PANORAMA IMAGES here.

It is one of the most picturesque counties in the UK and I must say it is my favourite for a few reasons:

1) It's got a moor (the mystical DARTMOOR)
2) It's got hill-ranges for hiking with SPLENDID VIEWS
3) It's got the sea and a wonderful rugged COASTAL PATHS
4) It's got lots of Magical spots to explore
5) It's got the cutest WILD DARTMOOR PONIES

Fudge - the secret of the gooey kind

Devon has some of the best Fudge-making businesses and there are wonderful varieties to taste and sample and the scent of caramel hangs in the air at many a village
