What do you think I do there???
wow! My hut just right infront of the ocean. You dont know how I love it, and I am pretty sure you also gonna love it when swinging in the hammock reading a book called 'She's come undone' in a very peaceful atmosphere and less tourists is just cooling me down from the hit.

In November the Loi Kratong festival is celebrated througout Thailand. On November 19th, the night of the full moon, where I missed the party as I arrived on the next morning, a small boats made of banana leaves are floated on rivers or out to sea. These contain candles, incense, flowers and coin. The result is quite picturesque and is a must for visitors.

Koh Chang itself is a beautiful, green and mountainous island situated in Trat Province near the Cambodian border in Eastern Thailand. It is the second largest island in Thailand and lies in a group of 47 islands that have been awarded National Park status due to pristine rain forest and marine life. Several other nearby islands offers accomodation including Koh Maak, Koh Wai and Koh Kood.
Development on the island is largely limited to coastal areas due to forest protection and mountainous terrain. Despite being only 300km from Bangkok the region has only recently begun to open up to tourist development. The great beaches, impressive waterfalls and stunning scenarry together with a choice of accomodation and entertainment that ranges from basic to real luxury ensure that there will be something of interest to visitors on all budgets.

Some of the many activities available include :-

- good diving

- water sport and snorkeling

- hill trekking

- elephant jungle trekking and exploring the island by kayak, cycle, motorbike

There are also interesting local village to visit and boat trips are available to explore or stay at other islands in a group.
