Tel Aviv is the biggest metropolis in Israel, lays on Mediterranean seashore, and is divided with Ha'Yarkon River into two parts. On the far southern side is the old town, Yafo, which has many historic reminders up to Bible times. Its harbor, which is difficult of access, had functioned back to Solomon time, but today serves only fishermen. Beautiful old allies, art galleries and restaurants in addition to archeology's excavations and St Peter's Church (adjoining Franciscan Monastery), make the place very attractive. The northern part, where I live today, is the new modern neighborhoods, and where most of museums are located.
In between, lies the big city which actives 24 hours, and you can always find your favorite interests.
Will try to cover all different districts and give tips for traveling.
Will be glad to answer any question. |
